16 Week Bumpdate....

 13 Weeks and 5 Days

 15 Weeks and 5 Days
Ok, this shirt is definitely retired... I am surprised what not to wear didn't kidnap me. Obviously it is too short, but in my defense we still do not have a full body mirror so I use our shower door to view my outfit for the day. This was a big mistake and we will hopefully invest in a full body mirror ASAP!haha

16 Weeks and 5 Days
Remembered right before bed to get my "sticker picture" so that explains the rough look!

How Far Along? 16 weeks and 5 days (Sunday, March 11)!
Size of Baby P? Avocado (Just over 4 1/2 inches)
This week's major developments:
Get ready for a growth spurt. In the next few weeks, your baby will double his weight and add inches to his length. Right now, he's about the size of an avocado: 4 1/2 inches long (head to rump) and 3 1/2 ounces. His legs are much more developed, his head is more erect than it has been, and his eyes have moved closer to the front of his head. His ears are close to their final position, too. The patterning of his scalp has begun, though his locks aren't recognizable yet. He's even started growing toenails. And there's a lot happening inside as well. For example, his heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day, and this amount will continue to increase as your baby continues to develop.(from www.babycenter.com)

Maternity Clothes? I told my husband that we have got to go get some maternity dress pants... these babies are making indentions in my stomach! No need for all that... We went on a Tuesday during the workweek to buy some, and they feel like a little piece of heaven!
 Weight Gain? About 10 pounds...
Stretch Marks/belly button? No stretch marks; but as I knew it would my belly button normally isn't a "deep innie" but it is definitely going to pop out in the next couple of weeks! AHHHHHHH.....
Gender? We have an ultrasound MARCH 26th!! The Monday we get back from our Spring Break trip!:) Gender reveal party that night and excited about our little reveal idea!...
Sleep? Waking up about 2 times a during night to use the restroom... but much better...
Food Cravings?Broccoli cheese soup has sounded delicious.... it was french onion soup, but that makes me want to hurl now. Any sweet, sour, fruity candy is just delicious! Especially RIPS!!!
What I Miss? Nothing really.... trying to get back into a consistent workout routine worked out 3 days last week! I'm getting there....
What I am loving? That time is ticking away until we find out if we have a little knucklehead or a little princess!! MARCH 26TH!!!!
Movement? They say you can start feeling it week 16, none yet. Waiting  desperately  patiently for those flutters;) A couple of times while laying in bed I think I have felt a tiny flutter but I don't feel like I can confirm it yet!
Symptoms? After I eat I burp/hiccup constantly... kinda TMI. But true!
Best Moment of the Week?My sister joined me again on my last appointment (February 21st) at 14 weeks. The heartbeat was 160 bpm. My sister got the doppler for me, I was doing it every day about 3 times, but Daddy thinks I am hurting the baby so I have cut back to every other night (only once) The heart rate  usually ranges from 148-168 bpm.
People at school and work are starting to "notice" by slight bulging belly.  My students started saying last week, "Mrs. Pody, I see your belly getting bigger! They will definitely be honest with you.... Some of my girls will get on to others for being too loud because they think they are hurting the babies' ears. ;) They also think when I am cold the baby is cold or when I eat something sweet they tell me it is not good for the baby. I have a lot of eyes on me! :)

I also got my "mommy mobile" a couple of weeks ago so very excited about cruising the baby in the new ride!
 4-runner!

Have a BLESSED day!

Baby Boy Ideas....

Like I said in yesterday's post... I have my inspiration for our baby boy in my mind. I don't really see what I want out there, but I thought I would share a couple of ideas I have pinned. Of course, these are via PINTEREST as well. ;)

No this is not our name... but love the idea. (For a girl also)

Love the color scheme on these frames...

Actually not crazy about this.... just like a few rustic details....

Love the rustic look of this crib!

Accent wall idea for a baby boy... ours would be vertical though:)

Had to throw these cutie booties in! He will definitely have a pair (maybe in every color) of these;) Possibly with a matching hat!

I love this with more "boyish" items added;)Daddy would think it's a little too girly....

Great neutral nursery... especially if you are strong enough not to find out what you are having;)
 NOT THIS GIRL!

Baby Girl Nursery Inspirations......

We are 16 weeks tomorrow!!!!!
I will be doing a bumpdate update soon. I decided to chill on every week, not much is changing right now;) I will start doing biweekly soon.
Mom and I went to Cotton Tails (arts & craft show) this weekend and all I can say is Mr. Pody better pray for a BOY so he still has at least a 20 dollar bill in his wallet!! They had the most precious baby girl clothes!! But there is no doubt our little man will be a well-dressed baby boy too!

Of course, most of these inspirations are via PINTEREST. As you can see I am not a "theme" person. You definitely see more baby girl nurseries out there. But no worries, I have our baby boys nursery inspiration all in my mind. I have pinned a few boys ideas but just bits and pieces of different nurseries I like and will definitely share soon. Also with our baby girl's nursery, I have the inspiration in my mind and like different things about each of these pretties.... ENJOY!

 1.
Love the changing table.... perfect for slobbery fingerprints in the future;) But I still love it.
What I can see of the chandelier looks pretty beautiful too!

2.
I like this bedding a lot. I have so many different bedding ideas whirling in my mind. I hope to make an appointment w/ the "bedding lady" soon!

3.
I am loving a splash of lavender. Possibility;)

4.
Just love it!

5.
Just realized this is a different view of number 1.... interesting rug, not so sure...

6.
Love the color scheme and all the white....

7.
Gray and pink is BEAUTIFUL.... LOVE the mirror above the bed. Mom always gets me scared saying, "What if it falls?" Our nursery has a slope above the bed so it isn't an option anyway;)

8.
Love the accent wall....

10.
I LOVE GRAY... enough said;)

Which one is your favorite???
;)
