When I went to get his 10 month sticker, it hit me that we only have 2 more months for stickers. It is absolutely ridiculous how the first year flies by. At the same time, I am so thankful for my growing, healthy baby boy!
"Let's me see how I can get down from here..."
Stats:
Doctor's stats: 22 pounds/ 90th percentile
28 inches long/ 50th percentile
Milestones:
Words we have mastered:
- da da... while he is playing, he repeats da da da da da. It is even cuter when he waked up in the morning or from a nap, he will whisper it.
- m-ma... He will say it when he is whiney, sleepy, or hungry. Sometimes I get a happy ma-ma!
- bye-bye
- "ba" for ball
- Hi or sometimes it will be hey
He waves bye-bye and hey
Grasps objects with his index finger and thumb.
Throws ball on demand.
Firsts:
First time in Grandmama's pool!
First time playing in the sand...
First dinner at Capt. Anderson's at the beach...
First trip to Angelo's at the beach and getting a pic in front of Gus.
First arcade visit...
First time playing in the park at Aunt Lynie's.
LOVES:
Still has a love for balls. So what does daddy do? Finds him one bigger than him!
Grandaddy's hat... the child is obsessed with Lee's father's hat.
Cheese Curl puffs
Chasing Camden
Destroying anything I try to pick up, I'm fighting a losing battle there.
Being nosy and starring at strangers
Paci... WE ARE ATTACHED. Now that he can put it in all by himself, he will randomly find them and has it in his mouth a good bit.
Still LOVES riding the mule... he will makes motor noises with his lips when Lee gets home in the evenings. We think that is him asking to ride the mule:) He kicks, screams, laughs, and LOVES blowing the horn!
(He's waving;)
(He's waving;)
He loves anything that makes loud noises: tractors, motor cycles, trucks, lawn mowers, bull dozers, etc.
Being outside/ Swinging
Monthly Events/ Cuteness I Never Want to Forget:
Dedication...
He has started laying his head on your chest or leg randomly, showing love.
He rarely meets a stranger, he waves at just about everyone and gives them that precious gummy grin (STILL NO TEETH!)
He is quite a momma's boy at times. As long as I'm sitting still in the same room as him, all is right in the world. But the moment I stand up, he starts whining ma,ma,ma,ma and crawling after me. He is also a momma's boy when he gets sleepy. We just MIGHT take 2 hour naps together about 3 times a week!:)
He and his daddy have their own growling language. I joke with Lee that the child has to learn SOME words and not all sounds!
Along with growling, he makes motor noises with his mouth, babbling sounds with his tongue, and uses his hand and flaps his lips saying ah,ah,ah... He's quite the noise maker.
He's a snuggle bug... At night he will either be snuggled right next to me or daddy. For the record, daddy is worse than me about the whole sleeping situation. He usually gets him at night and they bond in the bed while watching "Call of the Wildman" or "Duck Dynasty". I will hear him telling him, "You can stay right hear, buddy." "You can lay right here with daddy, buddy." "Mommy and daddy are not going anywhere." AND right there he snoozes! :)
He thinks it's funny when you hold his paci in your mouth (the back of it) and play tug-of-war with him.
If someone is holding him and you reach for him he will jump to the other shoulder so you can't get him and die out laughing.

Other updates:
He is eating fruit & oatmeal mix with yogurt for breakfast, then a 4 ounce bottle before morning nap, fruit & veggie for lunch sometimes with yogurt, about 2 hours later a 4-6 ounce bottle, veggie & fruit for dinner and possibly half of the yogurt he did not finish at lunch, then we shoot for an 8 ounce bottle before bed. Most of the time I only can get 6 ounces down him! We still wake up in the middle of the night for a bottle, USUALLY just waking up once (that's a good night though). He is STILL sleeping in the pack n' play by our bed or in the middle of us. I will not even say we will make the transition this month, y'all are going to think I'm a liar;). He is wearing 12 month clothes and still in size 4 diapers!
We LOVE you so much, buddy boy! You are truly a blessing.
