Happy 9 Months, Love Bug!

Whew, this was eventful. The best I could get with wild man!

This is all he wanted to do...

PEEK-A-BOO!

"HMMM, what's this?"
And now it's wadded up in the garbage! Guess mommy will not save these for future baby brother! ;)

Stats:

Height- 28 inches long

Mini-Photo Shoot: Baby on the loose!

After poor Camden as always...
As you can see, Camden is a tease and not totally innocent either!

 Milestones:

He discovered a few new tricks this month and does them constantly.

 Walking behind puppy...

Crawling everywhere and climbing everything!

Firsts:

Honestly, we kept it low-key this month! Not too many firsts. He will have a lot next month since it is summer time!
He did take a ride on the lawn mower with daddy!

Loves:
Balls
Dogs
Cheese curl melts
Riding the mule
Being held ALL THE TIME!
Playing with his Ride/Walk Along puppy
Fruit/Oatmeal mix
Strawberry/Banana Yogurt
Being nosy and watching strangers

Other updates:
He is eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast= fruit/oatmeal mix & yogurt; Lunch= Vegetable & fruit; Dinner=Vegetable & fruit. He takes 6 ounce bottles in between and an 8 ounce bottle before bed. We do not have the best sleeper on our hands! He wakes up about 4 times a night which results in a "paci plug" and a bottle about 3:00. He was a better sleeper when he came home from the hospital! He naps in the morning about 9:00 for 30 min. to an hour. Then again around 1:00 for 1 hour to 2 hours. Then usually has a "mini-nap" around 5 for about 30 minutes. He is wearing 9-12 months clothes, mostly 12 month and wears a size 4 diaper.
He is so stinkin' cute and his little personality blossoms everyday! He has filled our lives with such joy...
I love that boy so much!

Weekend Highlights: Memorial Day!

This weekend was a blast! It was a perfect start to a wonderful summer.

After Sunday school, we headed to the river to spend the day with my family.

When we arrived, MiMi has Gage some goodies waiting on him!

Monkey fell asleep in the truck and doing some serious snoozing when we first got there.

MiMi, Poppy, and their baby...

Uncle Dan, Aunt Lynie, and their Chunko...

Our little family...

Gage played in his pool for hours! This will definitely be a big part of our summer!

He is starting to take his hats off... If I tell him "NO!" a few times, he will stop. He is very tender- hearted to the word "NO!" He will just out crying!

Our little family getting about to go on our boat ride!

First boat ride on Poppy's boat...

He loved Poppy's boat!

He was out after 5 minutes of riding!

After his exhausting boat ride, he napped for over an hour.

The gang!

If momma invites you on a picnic, you better believe it's not your ordinary picnic! More like a feast... My momma don't play when it comes to a picnic. :)

For Memorial Day, we swam at Grandmama's (Lee's mom).

This was his first time in grandmama's pool... He wasn't so sure about it at first. It was a little colder than his normal bath water, but after a while he was splish-splashing away!

Lee cooked us a hamburger on our mini grill... it's pretty cute it you ask me!

Baby boy got a rigged shade, courtesy of Aunt Amy.

Gage loved his first corn-on-the-cob!

We made some Wendy's frosty!
3 ingredients: condensed milk, tub of cool whip, and half gallon of chocolate milk... Delicious!

Of course, we took our little puppy on a mule ride... HE LOOVES his mule!

Another fabuloud weeked! Makes me evem more excited about our summer!

I have enjoyed my first day as a SAHM, but let me just say, I have spent TOO much money.... I need to go back to work....NAAAHH! :)

9 month post tomorrow!

Summer Project List...

As most of you know, I'm a teacher. Come May 24th, I will become a capital SAHM for 3 months (with pay, which is a plus;). I have been wrapping up end of the year stuff at school and it feels OH SO GOOD! It's the best feeling in the world when you are marching your class to the library to turn in textbooks to end the year!
Most of my time will the spent with my baby, laying by the pool, going on beach trips, having play dates with friends, meeting daddy for lunch, and spending as much time as possible with my best friend, the sister!
BUT I have a few projects I would love to complete over the summer...

1. A new wreath for our front door.
My house is not complete without something on my door. I LOVE wreathes, initials, anything, but SOMETHING has to be on our door. As you can see here, here, and here.
I wish I could be a part of a craft club or something, maybe I should start one myself... maybe not.

2. This would be a project for the husband, a bed swing for under our back deck!
I'm thinking maybe pallets... Lee, GET ON IT!;)

Hanging Daybed Swing

3. Hang something pretty above my kitchen window...
When I continue my home tour that I've been trying to post about for 2 years now (since the sarcasm?), you will see my kitchen window needs something, maybe similar to the picture below.
Pretty

5. Hang some pretties in our master bedroom.
Call me weird, but I want our bedroom to consist of pictures of just Lee and I. As cute as our little chunky-monkey is, I want that room to be about just US. I'm thinking a large canvas similar to the one below will be perfect!
First dance photo... must have this!

6. Update Gage's baby book...
Thank the Lord for my blog because I have am REALLY behind in his baby book. Like.... I only have the part about our showers complete. Bad momma, but I'll catch up this summer!

7. Finish our home tour on this little blog of mine...
You can catch up by visiting the "Our Home" page.

8. Start our family year book...
I want to do a year book every year to document our memories. If you know a good website to do this, let a sister know!

Will all of these be marked off the list... probably not. But a girl can dream! :)
