Friday

Of course we went out on the lake all day, then for dinner we all packed up and ate dinner at Niffer's! (my fav) We usually ride in the boat, but due to weather, we decided to drive. Thank goodness we did because a storm came in the middle of dinner!!

The geese brought their babies to visit at the same time every morning. I think it is so cute how they travel in packs, and those mommies are very protective!!! She was not liking me taking her picture...

The mommies never ate, they just let their babies eat.
Lee got his finger bit by one of the babies... he didn't feed them again after that incidence!

Saturday

Mom and dad came to visit on Saturday. We road on the lake all day long looking at our dream homes;), ate lunch at Chuck's on the Lake, and ate we all cooked a HUGE dinner with our friends that night! Mom and dad got to experience how much we cook while at the lake, there is always enough left over for everyone in the campground!

Sunday

We went for a boat ride with the whole group! We stayed on the lake for about 5 hours and ate lunch at Chuck's (again). For dinner, it looked like it was going to rain, so everyone half-way packed up, got dressed, and went to eat at Ruby Tuesday's. We went for the easier route;) We had so much fun, as always! We are going back this Thursday, then going the for July 4th!

Can't wait!!:)

Monday Memories!!... a day late:)

Friday

During the day, I went with my mom and sister to get their hair done, pick up the basket shower cake and lunch at Olexia's, then to get all of the food for my shower! Then Lee and I did our weekly house-looking;) and we had a quick dinner at Dave's Deli. We had big plans to do some running around, but I was SO tired and not feeling too well, so we headed to Lee's to rest!

Saturday

My Basket Shower was wonderful!!

I am so blessed to have amazing friends and family! I was so happy to see everyone. I got a bunch of goodies and I will post pictures when I get them from Ale! Thank you so much to those who came, it meant more than you will ever know!!:)

Kalli (my future niece) wrote me the sweetest note and gave it to me at my shower. I will keep it forever! and I have to share in with everyone.... ;)

Saturday night, my family was in town from Georgia, so we relaxed, ate BAR-B-Q, watched the race, and played with little Miss Ansleigh Kate!:)

Sunday

Memorial Day at Wind Creek is huge, so you have to take your camper down a week early to get a good spot. We have our boat this year, so we had to get a place on the water! We took everything down Sunday morning, and thankfully we did, because we got a waterfront spot with luck! Lee's parents joined us to make setting everything up easier! We are leaving Wednesday, so now we don't have much to do when we get down! I am so ready to be there!!

Sunday night, Kalli and Colson (niece & nephew) were in a play at church! They were so PRECIOUS! And Kalli had a speaking part and did great!! They are the sweetest children in the world!!

Wedding Wednesday...

It's been a while since I have done a Wedding update...

Honestly, I have the major things complete... just some simple projects that I have plenty of time to complete!

BUT, my Bride book came in!! It turned out perfectly! Can't wait to start working on it!!

A place in Birmingham (Swoozy's) is going out of business so my sister and I stopped in to see what they had to offer...
They had this scrapbook for 50% off! It's by Martha Stewart and it documents things I would have never thought of!!
Can't wait to begin this project either!;)

I also got my bridesmaid's gift, which I am VERY excited about... But I have a few readers so I cannot ruin the surprise!!;0)

This weekend is my Basket shower!! My sister and Nikki are throwing it for me! I am so thankful and excited! And if you are wondering why my parties are starting so early...WELL... in Sweet Home Alabama, football comes before everything else in life, so we are trying to fit most in before it begins!;) Also, when trying to set my wedding date, football schedules were the first thing I looked at!!haha
